MONDAYS!

Mondays are one of the boring busiest days of the week for me. It's the day I do laundry, vacuumming ( yup, this is the correct spelling, I checked :P), general house cleaning etc

Yes, I do household chores and pick up sh!t after my 2 boys which I will intro soon. I don't really lead a typical Tai Tai like what most people think.

My hubby often asks me what do I do during the daytime. There is so much to do to keep a house somewhat clean & neat looking. He thinks it's so easy cos he doesn't lift a finger. He doesn't even know how to use the washing machine -.-

I usually cook healthy breakfast & lunch ( will share how I maintain my skinny svelte figure despite being in my 30s & still eating junk food :P)  for myself. My hubby will sometimes buy dinner back. For him, cooking is best left to the professionals  -.-
He doesn't appreciate me cooking, probably not that good at it though he always say otherwise. Probably thinking it's best not to say something that may get him in trouble for nothing
 -.-

P/S He doesn't know I am keeping a blog *sniggers*

Brunch at House, Barracks Camp Dempsey

Brunch/Lunch at House, Dempsey for post celebration of my hubby's birthday, along with another  couple - Swiss angmoh hubby + Vietnamese wife.

It's a absolute must to make a reservation cos House is really busy on a Sun afternoon. We had reservation at 1pm. Wanted the reservation to be at 12 noon but they were fully booked at that time.

Here is what my hubby and I had:

Museli
Green Tea fusion

Risotto

American Slider - with Blu Cheese & Bacon

Food at House, Barracks Camp, Dempsey is OK. ( Will do a review of all the brunch places we have been)

We loved the green tea fusion with cherry and museli. I had the American Sliders ( yes, I love junk food :P) and my husband, the risotto.

Sad to say, I had better American sliders ( mini burgers) at Overeasy, Fullerton than House. The risotto was tasty but one thing to note, House seems to love to put truffle oil on everything.

I can't order normal fries, it has to be truffle fries. Even the risotto had truffle oil too. If you are a big fan of truffle oil, House @ Dempsey is your place!

For  us, an over dose of truffle oil cause us to have a very heavy feeling after eating, didn't feel too good. The ambience was nice, similar to P.S Cafe at Dempsey. Service was prompt and good despite them having a full House.

Not likely to return though as we prefer other brunch places in Singapore :P

Rating: 2.5 /5 cherries

My Hubby's Birthday

Hmm.. my very 1st post and on my hubby's birthday!! The reason why I am so free on his birthday cos he has gone to his company's appreciation dinner.

I have decided to start this blog cos
1) There aren't many blogs that cater to my age group - 30s
2) Well, I have a lot of time on my hand, so why not? :P
3) Instead of reading other females in their teens, 20s blogs ( sigh), why not start my own blog?

Well, before anyone judges me, I have worked very hard for >10 years before taking a break and have accumulated quite abit of savings. I am now a housewife homemaker. My hubby earns enough to support our living for the time being and I have savings to last me for a while ( my excuse for not working anyway :P)

And my hubby is Swiss! Yes, you can call me SPG if you like *hmph* *rolls eyes*
I know how people like to call any woman with angmoh man SPG. If that makes YOU feel better, why not? *sigh*
